– Rep. Karen Boback (R-Lackawanna/Luzerne/Wyoming) today announced that the application process for the second and final round of federal CARES Act grants for small businesses in Pennsylvania will begin Monday, Aug. 10, at 9 a.m.
“Small business owners are encouraged to apply for these grants, ranging from $5,000 to $50,000, to offset lost revenue caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting shutdown order,” said Boback.
Eligible businesses may begin applying to the COVID-19 Relief Statewide Small Business Assistance program by visiting www.pabusinessgrants.com. The application will close on Friday, Aug. 28, at 11:59 p.m.
Businesses that applied during the first application window do not need to reapply. Qualified applications will be automatically rolled over into the next funding round for consideration.
This project is financed by a grant from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, under the administration of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Community Development Financial Institutions Network, which primarily provides financing options for small businesses.
