According to the Pennsylvania Office of the State Treasurer, 1 in 10 Commonwealth residents has unclaimed property waiting for them. Before you ignore this statistic, please consider the following:

Earlier this year, one of my House colleagues ran a constituent’s name (at his request) through the Treasury database. They were more than happy to contact him - on his birthday - to inform him of the discovery of two claims totaling nearly $76,000.

It costs nothing to do the research, and who knows what property in your name could be waiting to be claimed. Please contact my district office at (570) 675-6000 or (570) 836-4777 and let us do the work for you.
New Legislative Session Begins Tuesday, Jan. 1

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives will begin the 2019-20 Legislative Session on Tuesday, Jan. 1, with members taking the oath of office at noon.

The ceremony will also include election of the Speaker of the House and a joint session with the state Senate to certify election results. Live streaming of the entire ceremony will be available on my website,

I recently had the honor of presenting the Ambassador for Peace Medal to these fine gentlemen – Ralph Anderson, Bruce Allen Gelnett, James Locker and Donald George White.
This commemorative medal is an expression of appreciation from the Korean government to American service men and women who served in the Korean War.
