TUNKHANNOCK – Rep. Karen Boback (R-Lackawanna/Luzerne/Wyoming) invites parents, students and community members to a drug forum on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Tunkhannock Area High School Auditorium from 6-7:30 p.m.

The forum, titled “Opioid Dangers 101,” will be led by professionals and local experts to educate local communities on the opioid epidemic devastating families, neighborhoods, our Commonwealth and our country.

“The opioid epidemic is the most serious health crisis our state has faced in decades,” said Boback. “My goal is to educate the public about the dangers of opioid prescription drugs and ways to prevent abuse and find help.”

This panel discussion is open to the public and held in conjunction with Tunkhannock Area School District.
